Book - Raising children with the heart of a Buddha
Buddha taught, "Family is where one mind lives with another mind. If they love each other, the house will be as beautiful as a flower garden. On the contrary, if they are in discord, it will be like a storm that destroys the garden."
Being a parent is a difficult job. My father once told me that no matter what I do, it's wrong. I was a teenager at the time, so it wasn't surprising that he said that, but whatever mistake he thought he made, he must have done something right. Today, we brothers and sisters love each other very much. My parents laid the foundation for this when we were young. But neither of them are perfect parents, but they both annoy and comfort me.
There are many books on parenting, but almost none of them are based on Buddhist principles. Buddhism, after all, is about the law of cause and effect. If we do good, the results will be good. It is an optimistic philosophy in which we can completely eliminate ignorance (lack of understanding) and thus all suffering.
